I personally developed unique and highly functional spreadsheets designed to display volleyball data, both for in-match analysis and scouting opposing teams. These tools were meticulously crafted to present real-time insights in a user-friendly and efficient manner, meeting the dynamic needs of players, coaches, and analysts. Incorporating detailed UX feedback throughout the development process allowed me to iteratively improve the design, enhancing usability and ensuring the interface was intuitive and visually accessible.
The success of these tools, alongside my commitment to continuous refinement, led to an incredible opportunity: an internship with the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). This role allowed me to expand upon my initial work, collaborate with industry professionals, and further develop innovative data solutions for volleyball at the highest levels of competition.
This is an AI tool called Balltime, data-trained off of professional volleyball matches, that I customized to meet our teams’ needs.
I have developed comprehensive volleyball game plans that prioritize presenting data in a clear, actionable, and visually engaging format. These game plans were designed to effectively communicate critical information to players and coaches, whether preparing for an upcoming match or analyzing past performances. By focusing on UI/UX principles, I ensured the layout was intuitive, emphasizing clarity and accessibility to support quick decision-making under time-sensitive conditions.
Throughout the development process, I actively sought and implemented feedback to refine the user experience, optimizing elements like color coding, data organization, and visual hierarchy. This approach not only enhanced the usability of the game plans but also ensured that the information could be easily understood and applied in high-pressure scenarios.
This emphasis on combining detailed analytics with thoughtful design ultimately strengthened my ability to deliver impactful, user-focused tools, further cementing my expertise in creating effective solutions for volleyball strategy and performance analysis.
